I don't know whether you would count the following as an embedded system, but 
it should be one...

There is a (german) project for a firewall router based on linux -- called 
fli4l. It is based on buildroot and busybox. It runs on almost everything, a 
full fledged computer and, e.g. on an alix board -- which should count as an 
embedded system.

I previously reported problems on compiling snmp 5.4.1 in the buildroot 
environment, but it worked with 5.3.2.

See the thread net-snmp 5.4.1 built without error but not working (buildroot 
environment) from last month.
