Hello, I want to use net-snmp to monitor 40+ windows server 2003 proliant servers by collecting and graphing with cacti. I did install net-snmp package and got it as a service. I am able to retrieve info from it but it is too much basic information, and only about network related stuff. I did not install the Microsoft SNMP server but only the net-snmp package. Is there a way I could get cpu, memory and disk usage, and also more specific process related info with **only** net-snmp package ? I saw that installing the Microsoft agent I do get much more info. I am using v1 and public community. FYI what I am currently getting is (shorted): SNMPv2-MIB::sysDescr.0 = STRING: Windows dpfips02 5.2.3790 Service Pack 1 Server 2003 Standard Edition x86 Family 6 Model 15 Stepping 6SNMPv2-MIB::sysObjectID.0 = OID: NET-SNMP-MIB::netSnmpAgentOIDs.13DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (27832680) 3 days, 5:18:46.80 .... some more stuff .... Do I need to install the MS base snmp stuff ? Any help welcome.
