Hello,
I've got a problem when trying to configure snmptrapd to listen only on
one interface via /etc/snmp/snmptrapd.conf file.
Doing the following works:
# snmptrapd -f -c /etc/snmp/snmptrapd.conf udp:192.168.1.1:162
But with the following configuration file:
# more /etc/snmp/snmptrapd.conf
disableAuthorization yes
snmpTrapdAddr udp:192.168.1.1:162
I have the following error:
# snmptrapd -f -c /etc/snmp/snmptrapd.conf -Lo
NET-SNMP version 5.3.1
couldn't open udp:192.168.1.1:162 -- errno 98 ("Address already in use")
And no process is actually listening on this address/port. I've tried
also without the udp and/or port specification, without success.
Have I missed something?
Thanks,
