RE: How to differentiate snmpwalk & snmpgetnext request ??

Snmpwalk is nothing but a series of snmpgetnext requests.
For the given OID, snmpwalk first sends an snmpgetnext request. After
receiving the response for the getnext, it retrieves the OID from the
response and then sends snmpgetnext request on this OID. This way
snmpgetnext requests are sent until all OIDs/variables in the subtree
(and their values) below the given OID are retrieved.

        Like a flag in request structure which diff. walk & getnext..

        I have surfed the net-snmp , but i couldn't find out a way.
