hi all, i decided to download the net-snmp package and begin installation. My problem is that i found snmpd daemon under /usr/local/sbin. should I copy it under /etc/init.d and run it from there? I say that because when i installed net-snmp with yum install without downloading the package, the daemon was in /etc/init.d. Thanks for your help, Samira. _________________________________________________________________ Explore the seven wonders of the world http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=7+wonders+world&mkt=en-US&form=QBRE ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
