It's always worth taking a step back and think about what information you might be interested in, and how you might want to use it. Don't start worrying about how to structure this information until *after* you've finished thinking about what information you're interested in. Another thing to consider: Are you purely concerned with monitoring the current configuration? Or might you want to support active management of the system as well? (Enabling or disabling an individual Xen domain, renaming or migrating it, destroying it, or creating a new one? etc, etc) Even if you decide to start by implementing a read-only monitoring MIB (which is probably a sensible approach), it's worth thinking about a fuller read-write design for the MIB structure. A bit of time spent at the start could prevent a whole lot of pain further down the line!
