Support for include files in snmpd.conf?

I can't imagine this not having come up before, but I don't see any
e-mails about it in the last year, so I'll give it a shot anyway.

Is there any particular reason why it would be a bad idea for snmpd.conf
to support an "include" directive? I'd really like to break my
configuration out at work into a few smaller files that could be updated
remotely, followed by write of "versionUpdateConfig" or
"versionRestartAgent" to activate the changes. That way I can maintain
separate version control on the individual include files, and there's
less risk of the entire config being clobbered in the event of some
unforseen black hole in the logic of whatever updating script we use.
