Hi karthik,

I am using Net-snmp-5.2.2. I have started snmptrapd using the following
options. The option "%b" will print the source address of the trap
(Agent's IP address).
I hope the same option works for Net-snmp-5.4.1.1 as well.

snmptrapd -M ":/usr/share/snmp/mibs" -mALL -P -F "%#02.2h:%#02.2j
TRAP%w.%q from %A:%b\n Enterprise String: %N\n Trap type:%w Trap
Subtype:%q\n VarBinds %v\n"

Regards,
Suresh.

Subject: Agent IP Address of Snmp V2c regarding.

Hi,

I am trying to attach a varbind for snmp V2c trap. This is because
SNMPV2C trap doesnt contain the agent Ip address of the trap. So, I am
trying to attach the agent IP Address as a varbind to the trap.

Can you help me how I can do that?

I am using Net-snmp 5.4.1.1 source code.
