Hi,

I am using snmptrap command to send traps. I want the command to use
the version and community string from snmpd.conf file and not from the
arguments passed as command line. How does it work?

I modified snmpd.conf file with values for trap sink, trap community
etc. Then I copied the file at /etc/snmp/ on a linux system'

But if I use the snmptrap command without -v and -c arguments, I get the
error:

bash-3.00# ./snmptrap -m "" "" 0 0 ""
No community name specified.
USAGE: snmptrap [OPTIONS] AGENT TRAP-PARAMETERS
