I recommend studying some RFC based MIBs, as you will get a concise, reviewed description of the behavior coupled with a reviewed and test MIB definition.  The VACM and USM MIBs have lots of interesting behavior and syntax.

    If I have permission to give my opinion, I say that there are 
program to analyse the sintaxe. They are trial version, but it´s 
possible understand how to write your own MIBs. But, one warning: it´s 
not easy. Other suggestion is understand ASN.1, the MIB language.
