Hi,

I have a server to make all my request SNMP via SNMPTT. I put all MPLS mibs int the folder /usr/local/share/snmp/mibs in order to request my router Cisco.

When I make a snmpwalk I get this result :

snmp:/usr/local/share/snmp# snmpwalk -v 2c -c bolduc 213.218.129.5 mplsTunnelDescr

MPLS-TE-STD-MIB::mplsTunnelDescr = No Such Object available on this agent at this OID

I have read documentation and I decide to activate agentx, so I put in my snmpd.conf this lines :

# syslocation: The [typically physical] location of the system.

# Note that setting this value here means that when trying to

# perform an snmp SET operation to the sysLocation.0 variable will make

# the agent return the "notWritable" error code. IE, including

# this token in the snmpd.conf file will disable write access to

# the variable.

# arguments: location_string

syslocation Local

# syscontact: The contact information for the administrator

# Note that setting this value here means that when trying to

# perform an snmp SET operation to the sysContact.0 variable will make

# the agent return the "notWritable" error code. IE, including

# this token in the snmpd.conf file will disable write access to

# the variable.

# arguments: contact_string

syscontact Root

# sysservices: The proper value for the sysServices object.

# arguments: sysservices_number

sysservices 79

# SECTION: Trap Destinations

#

# Here we define who the agent will send traps to.

# trap2sink: A SNMPv2c trap receiver

# arguments: host [community] [portnum]

#trap2sink

#trap2sink

# informsink: A SNMPv2c inform (acknowledged trap) receiver

# arguments: host [community] [portnum]

informsink

# trapcommunity: Default trap sink community to use

# arguments: community-string

trapcommunity bolduc

# authtrapenable: Should we send traps when authentication failures occur

# arguments: 1 | 2 (1 = yes, 2 = no)

authtrapenable 1

###########################################################################

# SECTION: Access Control Setup

#

# This section defines who is allowed to talk to your running

# snmp agent.

# rocommunity: a SNMPv1/SNMPv2c read-only access community name

# arguments: community [default|hostname|network/bits] [oid]

rocommunity bolduc 127.0.0.1

# rwcommunity: a SNMPv1/SNMPv2c read-write access community name

# arguments: community [default|hostname|network/bits] [oid]

rwcommunity bolduc

# Add Agentx

master agentx

agentxsocket /var/agentx/master

And then I have start my daemon snmpd whith this option /usr/local/sbin/snmpd -Dread_config -c /usr/local/share/snmp/snmpd.conf

 But I obtain no improvement.

I have this result

read_config: /usr/local/share/snmp/agentx.conf: No such file or directory

read_config: /usr/local/share/snmp/agentx.local.conf: No such file or directory

Agentx can resolve my problem ? how can I load all mibs ?

Thanks for your help.

Best regards.

Sébastien DAVID
