Hello all,

I'm trying to set up an snmp-agent and extend it using embedded perl on a
windows

machine and its driving me crazy..

I've gotten the latest binaries from sourceforge (5.4.1.2), Installed it.
And tested as out of the box.
agent itself runs as I can "snmpwalk" it.

As soon as I put something like

perl do "myscript.pl"
in snmpd.conf

I find a message in my snmp.log file
"warning unknown token: perl"

I've searched the web read the help files but cannot figure it out.
Supposedly embedded-perl support
is enabled by default, yet it will not recognize it.
any suggestion what I'm overlooking?
