Doubts about libsnmp.dll and netsnmp.dll

Dear users, I have worked on the evolution of a academic monitoring software which uses Net-SNMP 5.0.8 in order to read network information from SNMP MIBs. Our software has poor documentation and the previous developers did not register how they used Net SNMP. When I got in the project, Net SNMP 5.0.8 have been installed yet and our software was using libsnmp.dlll file to run. Now, we intend to use a newer version of Net SNMP, the version 5.4.1. I built that version in my computer and I can't find the libsnmp.dll file. I only have found the netsnmp.dll. Is netsnmp.dll an newer version of libsnmp.dll?
