May be I should rephrase the question a little bit. Are the so-called persistent file and the snmpd.conf the same file ? If they are the same one, I would like to know how to persist the changed info in it during runtime. If they are different files, I would like to know how to make the snmpd create/update this file. thx Steve ________________________________ From: Steve Miller <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, December 3, 2008 5:10:26 PM Subject: how to save changes into snmpd.conf Hi , How do I save the changed configs, such as a newly created user, password changes, etc. into the snmpd.conf so I wont lose the info after reboot? thx Steve ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Net-snmp-users mailing list [email protected] Please see the following page to unsubscribe or change other options: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/net-snmp-users
