May be I should rephrase the question a little bit. Are the so-called persistent file and the snmpd.conf the same file ? If they are the same one, I would like to know how to persist the changed info in it during runtime. If they are different files, I would like to know how to make the snmpd create/update this file.
thx

Subject: how to save changes into snmpd.conf

Hi ,

How do I save the changed configs, such as a newly created user, password changes, etc. into the snmpd.conf so I wont lose the info after reboot?

thx

Steve
