External user management for SNMPv3

Hi All, I am trying to understand if it is possible to have the snmpv3 (usm) users authenticated externally. Is there a way for an external account management? I couldn't find a way to connect the SNMP users to PAM, nor work with RADIUS. Is there some (other) way?
