all, I'm still having problems with monitor and net-snmp 5.4.2.1 on solaris 5.10 I have the following lines in my snmpd.conf proc xntpd monitor "Process table" -r 30 -u solarw -e prErrorFlag != 0 I then stop the xntpd process for testing. While I can see, via snmpwalk, that this is being detected, I dont get the trap by turning on some of the debug tokens I get disman:event:trigger:monitor: disman:event:trigger:monitor: Running trigger (Process table) Running trigger (Process table) Running snnptrapd locally I can see the coldstart trap is being sent so I think that this something specific to monitoring. Has anyone managed to get this to work? thanks --- Nick Hindley Senior Unix Systems Analyst Hammersmith And Fulham Bridge Partnership [email protected] T: (020) 8753 2926 ======================================================================= This email has been scanned for Virus infection by MessageLabs For more information please contact [email protected] ======================================================================= ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SF.Net email is Sponsored by MIX09, March 18-20, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
