What do you hope to accomplish? The project I'm working on requires an organized set of OID's, which are independent of current registrations (in any context). The subtree's appear to be a natural choice. I would like to use the subtree's as an independent data structure. Judging from the response I'm guessing there isn't such a project under way to turn the subtree's into an abstract data structure that others could consume.
