Actually I am using the exact same setup, but in a global zone. Compiled it and run it in 64bit Solaris 10.5 (intel CPU). Runs and compiles with no problems. Still testing/developing though, not production. Did you compile with Sun's gcc? You know you can analyze your core both by gcc and sun tools.
