Hi All, I have a FreeBSD box (FreeBSD 6.1-STABLE i386) with net-snmp 5.4.1.2. The problem is that snmpd does not include all vlan-interfaces in ifTable: # snmpwalk -v2c -c public proxy ifDescr IF-MIB::ifDescr.1 = STRING: fxp0 IF-MIB::ifDescr.2 = STRING: plip0 IF-MIB::ifDescr.3 = STRING: lo0 IF-MIB::ifDescr.4 = STRING: vlan7 IF-MIB::ifDescr.5 = STRING: vlan8 IF-MIB::ifDescr.6 = STRING: vlan202 IF-MIB::ifDescr.7 = STRING: vlan207 IF-MIB::ifDescr.8 = STRING: vlan210 IF-MIB::ifDescr.9 = STRING: vlan230 IF-MIB::ifDescr.10 = STRING: vlan231 IF-MIB::ifDescr.11 = STRING: vlan232 IF-MIB::ifDescr.12 = STRING: vlan233 IF-MIB::ifDescr.13 = STRING: vlan234 IF-MIB::ifDescr.14 = STRING: vlan235 IF-MIB::ifDescr.15 = STRING: vlan236 IF-MIB::ifDescr.16 = STRING: vlan237 IF-MIB::ifDescr.17 = STRING: vlan238 But I have more vlan-interfaces on my box: proxy# ifconfig | egrep ^vlan vlan7: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan8: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan202: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan207: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan210: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan230: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan231: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan232: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan233: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan234: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan235: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan236: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan237: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan238: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan241: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan246: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan242: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan261: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan270: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan276: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan280: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan289: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan290: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan291: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan292: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan293: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan294: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan295: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan296: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan298: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan209: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 I've googled some info, for example http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=112694&aid=1740393&group_id=12694 There is same issue described and bug is marked as "open". Does anyone have more information about that?
