What are the results of
    net-snmp-config --configure-options
&
    net-snmp-config --snmpd-module-list | tr " " "\n" | egrep
'(if-mib|interfaces)'
?
(as described in this Bug entry)


Are you using the newer IF-MIB implementation ("./configure
--enable-mfd-rewrites ...")
which ought to work properly, or the older code ("mibII/interfaces"),
which doesn't?
