Malar,

What versions of Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Windows are on your
machine? Please provide more information so that we can help.

According to
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa905139(SQL.80).aspx, you must
install and enable SNMP before installing MS SQL Server 2000.

I found other possible solutions via
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=microsoft+sql+server+snmp&aq=f&oq= as
well.

Good luck!
