I don't think that's an issue either, per se, although it's tough to tell because we have no details to go on. However, if this is a bash script, and the time was taken into a variable CTIME, then one would want to put the variable expansion inside double quotes to prevent the numbers at the front of the string from being interpreted as numerics, something bash can be pretty nasty with.
