No.
The request *must* include the security engine ID in order to succeed,
and it has to obtain this information from somewhere.

   Either it can send a probe to discover the engine value (steps 1&2),
or it can pick this up from some explicit configuration (such as the -e flag).
But you can't expect this value to be conjured up as if by magic!

PS:  Please note that we are talking about the *security* engineID here,
not the *context* engine ID.   These are different concepts, though they
typically have the same value.
