I have given like this also" snmpget –v1 -c democommunity localhost MIBfileName::nodename .0 "
Still i am unable to find results

That will never work.
If you're using snmpget, then you must *always* specify the instance
that you are interested in.
If this is a scalar object, then add '.0'.
If it's part of a table, then add the row index.
But a GET on the basic MIB object will always fail.
