I just started with the following link

I am getting here like this

Did you really include a space between the nodename and '.0' ?

The instance subidentifier is *part* of the OID.  It's not a separate parameter.

What happens if you try
   snmpgetnext -v1 -c democommunity localhost MIBfileName::nodename
          ?

Please cut-and-paste the *exact* command and output.
It is much harder to offer advice if we have to guess what you're trying,
and what you see.
