Hi,

I want to integrate C/C++ application with net-snmp library. So I was going through net-snmp README files in version net-snmp-5.4.rc1
and found two things -
1) netsnmp.dll can be only used with Perl module and data will not be persistent if this is used with any other application.
  - Whether this means netsnmp.dll cannot be integrated with C/C++ application and I have to use static library for this purpose

2) Using SNMP V3 functionality in net-snmp is not thread safe. If this is the case then I have to use sequential approach
rather than thread approach when I need to perform "Get" Request for multiple nodes.

I hope these issues got solved in version net-snmp-5.4.2.1.

Kindly suggest.

Thanks & Regards,
- Harish
