Monitor process - custom oid

   Hi,   I am monitoring data related to several processes running on a
linux machine. Apart from some internal propietary data (which is sent from
my processes to my sub-agent via udp socket), I would like to do the
following:

   1. I have several branches in my mib, something like this:

   enterprises.mycompanyoid.process1
   enterprises.mycompanyoid.process2

   Then I would like to have:  enterprises.mycompanyoid.process1.status (0
if it's not working, 1 if running; so on for the rest of the processes). I
can monitor processes using proc directive in smpd.conf, but then it uses
its own oid. Could I use net-snmp process monitoring functionality but with
my own oid? I have thought, as a 'dirty' solution, when I receive a get
request for my process status, my agent could do internally a get request to
the net-snmp process status oid, but I don't know if this is the best way to
achieve this...

   2. I would like to send custom traps when a process starts or stops...
But, again, using my custom defined traps in my MIB... Is this possible
using only snmpd.conf file?

   3. It doesn't have much to do with the subject of the mail, but I've seen
somewhere that snmp traps might have a severity; (debug, error, etc.). Is it
possible to set it easily using net-snmp c code?
