Actually, I suspect that the problem is that the master agent already has a (hard-coded) registration for the .1 subtree. So when you try to register another module for this subtree, this is most likely rejected as a "duplicate registration". My guess is that if you tried the same registration but with a different (higher) priority, things might well work OK.
