relocation error: netsnmp_check_vb_type

Hi,

I am getting the following error when I am trying to run my .so

dlopen failed: ld.so.1: snmpd: fatal: relocation error: file snmp_xxx.so: symbol netsnmp_check_vb_type: referenced symbol not found


code:
case MODE_SET_RESERVE1:
            ret = netsnmp_check_vb_type(requests->requestvb, ASN_INTEGER);
            if (ret != SNMP_ERR_NOERROR)
            {
                netsnmp_set_request_error(reqinfo, requests, ret);
            }
            break;
