Porting solaris code to windows

Hi, I have developed my dynamically loadable module on a solaris box using net-snmp 5.0.9 I want to compile this code on a windows machine and have a few questions regarding this: 1) will I be required to install net-snmp on windows or can I just move the required libs from solaris to windows 2) also the .so file compiled on the windows machine be usable on solaris box again thanks..
