You can start by:

1) Not mailing to both lists at once.  Only mail to the -users list for
   questions about the software or how to use it.

2) Start by taking a look at our tutorials: http://www.net-snmp.org/tutorial/
   They provide you with overviews of most of the tools, including how
   to get started writing extensions for the agent.
