Hi All, I was trying to disable a UDP-MIB. By disable, I mean, if that MIB is disabled manager will not be able to retrieve the values from that MIB. For example, if I disable UDP-MIB, I will not be able to retrieve the value udpInDatagrams.0 from agent using snmpget command. I tried to achieve this by not defining the UDP-MIB in snmp.conf file mibs section(attached with this mail), but following command on local host always returned me the valid value. $ snmpget -v 1 localhost -c public udpInDatagrams.0 The same snmp.conf file was put in /usr/local/etc/snmp/snmp.conf and /root/.snmp/snmp.conf location and local snmpd daemon was restarted after this change in snmp.conf file Can somebody let me know what I might be missing?
