Hello all: I have the net-snmp agent running fine on a number of Windows 2003 servers without any issues. However, running the agent with the same configuration on Windows 2008 keeps on failing. Executing: snmpget -v 3 -u <username> -l authNoPriv -a MD5 -A <password> <hostname> sysDescr.0 against Windows 2003 servers produces correct results but the same command executed against Windows 2008 produces the following error: SNMPv2-MIB::sysDescr.0 = No Such Object available on this agent at this OID Net-SNMP is installed using exactly the same options on Windows 2003 and 2008, Microsoft's SNMP service is installed but disabled as per docs. Has anyone else run into this and found a resolution or does anyone have any ideas on what to try?
