mysterious proc monitoring problem with snmpd

I am using snmpd proc command to monitor various processes using nagious
via snmp, this works fine on 99% servers, but two servers fail this.

Looks like this

but this fails every time and process count is not so high.

Server 1 that has this problem:

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 (x86_64)
VERSION = 10
PATCHLEVEL = 1

and

net-snmp-5.3.0.1-25.24.5

with kernel

Linux xxxxxx 2.6.16.54-0.2.3-smp #1 SMP Thu Nov 22 18:32:07 UTC 2007
x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

And another server that fails with proc command:

openSUSE 10.3 (i586)
VERSION = 10.3

and

net-snmp-5.4.1-19

with kernel


Linux yyyyyyyy 2.6.22.5-31-default #1 SMP 2007/09/21 22:29:00 UTC i686
i686 i386 GNU/Linux

Result from nonworking server with snmpwalk: (snmpwalk -v 2c -Ovqe -c
yyyy xxxxxxx.1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.2.1)

Any ideas? All servers are not running any hardening patches to kernel
and apparmor is disabled.
