That definitely doesn't sound right! (snmpget should return an answer for the exact same OID) OK - the first thing to check is whether you can see other stuff from the agent. What do the following return: snmpgetnext -v 2c -c public 127.0.0.1 ip snmpgetnext -v 2c -c public 127.0.0.1 experimental snmpgetnext -v 2c -c public 127.0.0.1 private snmpgetnext -v 2c -c public 127.0.0.1 netSnmp ?
