Hi Dave

Last section says .....

What is the Official Slogan of the net-snmp-coders list?
-------------------------------------------------------

  "The current implementation is non-obvious and may need to be improved."
    (with thanks to Rohit Dube)

  And an alternate, added 26-Apr-2000:

  "In theory, it shouldn't be that hard, but it just needs to be done."

I doubt that¹s what you mean :-)

As described, I tried a snmpwalk -v 1 -c public 10.30.1.41
CPI-PDU-SPV21215241BI-4-MIB::TEMPERATURE.0 which worked perfectly fine,
apart from that I still get these errors:

---cut---
Unlinked OID in CPI-PDU-SPV21215241BI-4-MIB: CPIPDUTraps# ::= { CPIPDUTraps
0 }
Undefined identifier: CPIPDUTraps near line 2068 of
/usr/share/snmp/mibs/CPI_SPV21215241BI-4.mib
Cannot adopt OID in CPI-PDU-SPV21215241BI-4-MIB: CPIPDUTraps# ::= {
CPIPDUTraps 0 }
---cut---

That means to me, that ³in general² it¹s working, but why do I get these
error messages? Is this related to:

Mib2c complains about not having a "valid OID" - what does this mean?

Thanks

Andre
