snmp.conf

Hi,

I have a problem with snmp.conf. It seems that snmpd is ignoring configuration written there.

snmp.conf looks like:
mibdirs +<DIR1>
mibdirs +<DIR2>

mibs +<MIB1>
mibs +<MIB2>
mibs +<MIB3>
mibs +<MIB4>

Where <MIBX> are module names and <DIRX> are absolute paths. 
I tried to place it in /etc/snmp even /usr/share/snmp. I also tried version with directories and MIB module names placed in one directive separated with colon. Nothing helped.

when snmpd is started, then it writes into the log:
Aug 12 13:19:50 de-pim snmpd[1420]: Cannot find module (<MIB1>): At line 0 in (none)
Aug 12 13:19:50 de-pim snmpd[1420]: Cannot find module (<MIB2>): At line 0 in (none)
Aug 12 13:19:50 de-pim snmpd[1420]: Cannot find module (<MIB3>): At line 0 in (none)
Aug 12 13:19:50 de-pim snmpd[1420]: Cannot find module (<MIB4>): At line 0 in (none)

So, it seems that it ignores mibdirs directives (knows mib names but don't know where to find it).
However if I start snmpd with -M and -m everything works fine.
