Checking the code for this table, it looks as if it determines
the number of processes by running the command "/bin/ps"
and interpreting the output.
   Would this work under Windows?

I don't think it's a problem with your configuration.
Rather, I think this will require a volunteer to look at implementing
a Windows-specific block of code for retrieving information about
the running processes.
