Have u looked at the tutorial? http://net-snmp.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/TUT:Writing_a_Subagent If not=2C take a look=3B and I can help if you get stuck. I ran into two ne= wbie problems. First was if overriding the default agentx port=2C make sure= u specify the domain (i.e. "tcp:localhost:705" vs "localhost:705"). That c= oupled with 705 not being an enabled port (firewall) caused me headaches. S= o don't forget to enable the port u use. I got this working on cygwin and u= buntu. The SNMP agent is running on 161. I have another agent running on 164. I want to register this 164 agent as subagent to master snmp agent running = on 161 so i can get data of 164 mib through this a single port communicatio= n. Can anyone help me with the steps.
