Questions about managing remotelly net-snmp.

Dear all, My name is Joaquim Duran. I'm a computer programmer for ADTelecom company (www.adtelecom.es). I should to extend net-snmp to manage a device attached to a computer remotely. My experience with SNMP is very basic. I send this message to you because I've some questions about net-snmp: 1 - One of the requirements of the client is the possibility to change the configuration of the IP interface (IP Address, netmask and router). I've seen that IP Addresses are stored in IPAddressTable, but I've read in documents found by google that this table could add an entry but not modify it. Also, I've intended add a new row using snmpset command. - Could you provide a simple sample to add and entry to a (any) table using snmpset command? - Is it possible to set the IP's parameters using standards Mibs? How? 2 - Also, it is possible to manage remotely these configuration net-snmp items: Authorized IP's addresses and communities (with permissions: read/write/traps).
