Net-SNMP with IPv6

Hi Support,

Can you please confirm if there is a net-SNMP version which can work with
Ubuntu,

 

We are trying to snmp walk a Cisco device that has snmpv3 configured with
IPv6 address but it's not working,

 

The version we are using is net-snmp 5.4.1 and we also downgreade it to
Net-SNMP 5.0.11 but both are giving the error

amit@amit-desktop:~$ snmpwalk udp6:'[2001:e30:1801:1::8]':161 -v 3 -u
cmtester -l authNoPriv -a MD5 -A tester12345

getaddrinfo:  No address associated with hostname

snmpwalk: Timeout

 

also we tried different snmpwalk syntax but the same issue

please see the attached shot 

 

with IPv4 it works fine

with Solaris and Net-SNMP 5.0 it's working fine

 

but for Ubuntu it's not, 

please advice.
