Actually, having finally looked at the mib2c script itself,
this functionality *is* present (and has been for years)

Try using   "$@ENTERPRISE" in the template config file.
This will be replaced by "$ENTERPRISE" in the resulting output.

(I'll close the entry in the bug tracker)
