need help building 5.5 under osx

I've been trying to build net-snmp v5.5 under Mac OSX 10.5.8. I've followed the instructions for the leopard build and have configured and made the executable. Unfortunately, I cannot pass any of the tests as running snmpd produces the following error: -------------- agent/snmpd --version dyld: Symbol not found: _kCFAllocatorDefault Referenced from: /Users/rick/src/net-snmp-5.5/agent/.libs/libnetsnmpmibs.20.dylib Expected in: dynamic lookup Trace/BPT trap -------------- any thoughts?
