snprint_objid in decimal format

Hi, Using the C API from net-snmp, how can I print an object in its "decimal" format? When I use snprint_objid, it returns something like "SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.1.46", I would to have it as "1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.46". Cheerio! Kr.
