All, I've observed that the -e option in trapsess sets contextEngineID instead of the security engine ID. Eg. -e behaves as if it was -E. In turn -E behaves correctly, so as far as I can see there's no way to set the securiy engine ID in 5.4.1 as well as 5.5. The snmp utility does behave correctly though and sets the contextEngineID using the -E option and security engibe ID using the -e parameter. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Planet: dedicated and managed hosting, cloud storage, colocation Stay online with enterprise data centers and the best network in the business Choose flexible plans and management services without long-term contracts Personal 24x7 support from experience hosting pros just a phone call away. http://p.sf.net/sfu/theplanet-com _______________________________________________ Net-snmp-users mailing list [email protected] Please see the following page to unsubscribe or change other options: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/net-snmp-users
