Re: loading vendor specific .mib

I have attached some screenshots. Hope it helps.

I have two files provided by vendor TC200GTSAgent.mib and TC200GTSRoot.mib
Inside the TC200GTSAgent.mib , i hav ejust taken one node dslRTNOSYNCAlarm
from the many nodes listed, just for testing purpose.

I tried adding the .mibs files with different commands.
snmptranslate -m +TC200GTSAgent.mib -IR -On dslRTNOSYNCAlarm
snmptranslate -m +TC200GTSAgent -IR -On dslRTNOSYNCAlarm
snmptranslate -m +TC200GTSRoot.mib -IR -On dslRTNOSYNCAlarm
snmptranslate -m +TC200GTSRoot -IR -On dslRTNOSYNCAlarm

Finaly the exact command used is

snmptranslate -m +ALL -IR -On dslRTNOSYNCAlarm

Then i initally got an Error which showed any underscrore(_) issue. So i
went to the TC200GTSAgent.mib file and removed the underscrore(_)
*Note:* that the same file with underscrore(_) compiled/loaded/worked fine
in windows MGSOFT s/w
Anyways, under linux(net-snmp), I removed the underscrore(_) and then ran
the same command again (ofcourse after restarting snmptrapd)
 *snmptranslate -m +ALL -IR -On dslRTNOSYNCAlarm*
 This time i had no errors but again he mibs wasnt loaded.

Please throw some light
