Thank you! 1) I did try that one per the README.snmpv3, but for some reason it didn't take affect even though I restarted the agent. I tried it again now and it works. That's a mystery. 2) Also, the changes "createUser" are appended to /var/net-snmp/snmpd.conf and not /usr/local/share/snmp/snmpd.conf. Do I need 2 files ?
