Hi Dave,

Thanks for your help. I got the 5.4.2.1 source code and compiled it. But I got the following errors:

 Warning: no access control information configured.

  It's unlikely this agent can serve any useful purpose in this state.

  Run "snmpconf -g basic_setup" to help you configure the snmpd.conf file for this agent.

I used the same snmpd.conf file as the one used in 5.3.1. Do you know if I missed anything?
