How do I get the DISMAN-TRACEROUTE-MIB "into" my SNMP Agent?

I've taken Dave Shields' suggestion and investigated the DISMAN-TRACROUTE-MIB. Unfortunately, it was not loaded when the agent was compiled. I have the DISMAN-TRACROUTE-MIB.txt file. What is the easiest way to get this into the agent so that I can have a look at what it will produce? I have spent a couple of hours going through the NET-SNMP website as well as reading through parts of a SkillSoft book on SNMP. I tried the mib2c command, but that got me nowhere. I am in experiential learner, so if anyone has a good example of how to go from a running agent and a MIB file to a running agent that now will respond to the OID's in that MIB file, I would very much appreciate it. Thanks.
