Greetings,

I am trying to implement the current net-snmp release on a set of windows xp
machines. I have msvc6 and msvc2005 installed but have had no luck getting
the current source to compile. I have installed the binary release however;
I need to be able to load mibs. After reading the net-snmp website it seemed
that my best option was embedded perl. The website explained that this was
included in the current binary release, until I found the page that
indicated that it isn't. My employers are willing to get me the msvc2008
upgrade but they would rather go to the 2010 compiler, does anyone know if
that will work? I have been interested in using and developing the snmp
service for several years and have finally got the go ahead to proceed. Any
help or guidance in this issue will be greatly appreciated.
